Lee Fowlie Images
I'm a local photographer based in Balmedie, capturing mainly Landscape Photography as a hobby. I started taking photos in 2015 with no prior training or experience just as a means of getting out and about but it quickly turned into a passion. I love visiting new locations and capturing the sights around me. Recently I’ve started providing tutoring to beginners, which I’m enjoying just as much as the photography itself.
I started up my Facebook page, Lee Fowlie Images in March 2016 after being encouraged to by friends. (probably because they were fed up of the amount of photos I was posting on my personal timeline) and from then it has grown steadily. I enjoy chatting to followers on the posts and through the page I have made quite a few good friends.
Most of my work can be viewed on Facebook and Instagram  but I'm also on TikTok now a days.
All photos are available to purchase as a print. Digital Downloads and Commercial Licenses are also available. Just contact me direct and I will do my best to met your requirement.
With over 8000 photos, needless to say, not all my photos are within my portfolio,  but if anyone wants a certain photo or would like to see a selection I have to offer, all they have to do is get in touch either via email at leefowlieimages@outlook.com or FaceBook Messenger and I’ll do my best to help.
I also have a selection of framed prints available from Balmedie to pick up.
I highly recommend Photography as a hobby to anyone. After a while you start to notice the world in a different light, becoming more in tune with your surroundings. Nothing beats a sunrise at Balmedie Beach or walking around the slopes of Bennachie visiting not only the Mither Tap but other spots like its Waterfall or the old Victorian Curling Pond for that perfect reflection.
I’ll leave you with one of my favourite quotes. Before I started photography I never really paid much attention to them but since trying to capture their beauty with a camera the words ring so true with me, especially when I'm home in Aberdeenshire.
“Get outside. Watch the sunrise. Watch the sunset. How does that make you feel? Does it make you feel big or tiny? Because there's something good about feeling both.” - Amy Grant.
All the best,

Lee Fowlie
